Process

Export the MetaHuman FBX and import it into MetaTailor to bind the clothing

Import the clothing skeletal mesh into Blender to clean up the geometry

Add a skeletal hierarchy in the MetaHuman Blueprint and attach the cloth's skeletal mesh to it
 

Facial Capture

  • Record facial performance videos, process them through Live Link Face to convert the data, and then apply the resulting facial animation
     

Motion Capture

  • Use QuickMagic for video-based motion capture, clean up and refine the data in Cascadeur, then import it into Unreal Engine for retargeting

Process

I modeled nearly everything in Blender and I rigged the character in Maya and recreated the environment in Unreal. Then simulate the FX in Houdini. I did the animation and completed the entire film myself.
